We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday. We can, at an additional charge, accommodate a late collection until 6pm, but this does need to be pre booked.
We offer 3 sessions, a full day (7:30am-5:30pm), a morning session (7:30am-12:30pm) or an afternoon session (12:30pm-5:30pm)
Sessions (fee structure from 1st March 2024):
Full Day 7:30am - 5:30pm £72 per day
includes breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack & tea
Morning Session 7:30am - 12:30pm £36 per day
includes breakfast, afternoon snack and lunch
Afternoon Session 12:30pm - 5:30pm £36 per day
includes afternoon snack and tea
Pre booked late collection until 6pm £7 per session
Our fees are inclusive and include nappies, sensitive wipes, sun cream, toothbrush and toothpaste.
Other toiletries we may ask parents to provide are a supply of nappy rash cream when required.
A non refundable deposit of £100 will be required upon us offering you the sessions you require.
A child’s place with us will automatically terminate on 31st August (for children attending term time only their place will expire on the last day of the summer term) of the year in which they are due to go to school unless parents inform us otherwise in writing, any sessions after this date will be charged as extra sessions.
We offer a 5% sibling discount for the eldest child.
LATE COLLECTION FEES OCCUR TO ALL OUR SESSIONS AND DAYS £1 PER MINUTE.
Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFE)
We offer EYFE to all eligible children from 9 months to 5 years here at Little Stars Childcare.

Funded sessions for eligible under 3’s enable your child to claim for 15 universal hours of nursery care each week for 38 weeks a year. This is term time only (38 weeks a year) or your child can use 11 hours a week over the full 50 weeks of the year that we are open. (Full 50 weeks a year).
Our charges for consumables (the cost of meals toiletries, sun cream etc) per funded session are:
£16 per 5 hour funded session (e.g. 7:30am-12:30pm)
£32 per 10 hour funded session (e.g. 7:30am-5:30pm)
For children using their 15 or 11 hours EYFE. Additional non funded hours maybe used on top of your 15 or 11 hours but will be charged at £7.20 per additional hour.
30 Hours (extended) Funding
Some - 3 & 4 year olds whose parents are working, maybe entitled to an additional 15 hours funding weekly.
These sessions enable your child to claim for 30 hours per week, term time only. These hours can be stretched over the 50 weeks we are open, which will give you 22 hours per week.

If you are successful, you will be issued with an 11-digit code which you will provide us with when applying for a space with us.
There is a consumables charge of £32 per day for extended hours sessions. This covers the cost of meals (breakfast, two snacks, cooked lunch & tea), toiletries, sun cream, extra cost activities - such as - yoga, music bugs, forest school and the high ratio of staffing that we keep within our pre-school room to enable weekly outings with the children.
We offer a limited number of standalone 15 or 30 hours only sessions (without consumable and extras), available on
request. There may be a waiting list for these sessions, please contact us directly for information.
WHEN DOES THE 3 & 4 YEAR OLD FUNDING START?
The government set the timetable for when children can claim their funding. Children are eligible for EYFE from the first term after the date, they turn 3-years-old, to the last term before they attend school.

These children can access their entitlement from the beginning of the Spring term
